(At Raven's Pet Safari 750 San Benito Street Hollister, CA 831/636-1921) MADDIE (AC908) Female multi-colored Tortie 7 weeks Came to HAS as a stray, a single kitty, when a volunteer from ACGSR was at the Shelter, this little one was meowing and clawing to get out of the cage, we had more than our quota of kittens to handle, the volunteer walked out of the door, hoping someone else might take the kitty, a few minutes later she was back in there, "Put her in a crate, her little meows are haunting me, I cannot leave her there alone" (Maddie was then just under 4 weeks old), in her foster home she is bright, happy, ery playful, loves her food, and enjoys playing with the older cats and the dogs MAGGIE MAY (AC288) Female Silver Tabby 2 Years old After having lost all her own kittens Maggie May took on a litter of four darling kittens, and has raised them as her own. Damage sustained by teenage boys taken a toll, needs home with no other pets, to feel comfortable, a matter of urgency to be out of caged environment ASAP, so can recover, very sweet to adults, does not care for children. Cherry has had it rough. She was kicked by some cruel teenagers who had no regard for animals. She sustained some damage to one of her eyes, but has since been spayed. Thanks to the kindness of Dr. Moran and his staff, Cherry is now healed, but a little scared. The best home for her would be with no children, a retired couple would be great.
